More info about the issue underneath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Special issue of <\/strong><strong><em>JEP<\/em><\/strong><strong>: Publishing &amp; Climate Justice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We at the <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.publishing.umich.edu\/jep\/\"><em>Journal of Electronic Publishing <\/em><\/a>(JEP) are incredibly excited to announce the publication of our new special issue on Publishing and Climate Justice, edited by Janneke Adema.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This important collection captures urgent and critical research that starts to outline the challenges the climate emergency poses to the publishing sector. The issue asks: <em>What is the role and responsibility of the publishing industry in tackling climate change? <\/em>The contributions to this issue all share a desire to further the dialogue about climate (in)justice in scholarly publishing, highlighting the paucity of research on this topic.
